- To provide the correct dimensions of the animal to be transported, in accordance with the requirements imposed by IATA related to the measurement (see the explanation in the picture below) so that it has enough space to turn around, to be able to stand, but also to be able to lie down in a comfortable position, so that the transport of the animal proceeds as naturally as possible. We mention that IATA does not certify or recommend a specific type of cage or manufacturer. You can find the minimum requirements imposed by IATA by accessing the following link: CR 1 (for large dogs) / CR 82 (for certain dangerous breeds)

- To provide the agent / airline company with the necessary food for the animal, but also with information about how it should be fed during the entire transport.

- To declare the final destination.

- To provide the animal with the appropriate care until it is handed over to the agent/airline company.

- Do not sedate the animal before the flight.

- To provide the agent / airline company with the sex, age, breed of the animal, weight, but also the correct size of the animal so that the appropriate cage can be correctly fixed. The actual transport price will be determined according to the volumetric weight (calculated in volumetric kg.) of a cage, weight which is calculated as follows: L x l x h /6,000, in accordance with the provisions of the IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR).

- To declare if the transported animal is: examined and declared healthy by a veterinarian, if the animal is under medical treatment, if the animal (in this case - the female) is in heat or if it is pregnant or if it has recently given birth.

- Declare if the transported animal is: aggressive towards people or other animals, if it is undergoing medical treatment or has undergone surgery.

- To complete and sign two copies of the "Certificat Live Animals", standard form provided by the agent / airline.

- To complete and sign the transport contract and the agent's power of attorney request for export/import customs formalities, specifying whether the animal is a commercial object (with declaration of value) or non-commercial (relocation).

- To make available to the agent / airline the passport and health card as appropriate, with vaccinations and deworming (internal and external) according to age and the requirements of the country of destination, blood tests (as appropriate, depending on the country of destination), the import permit (as the case may be, depending on the country of destination).
